„Tanz zwischen den Welten – Patricio Bunster in Chile und Deutschland“ is a panel exhibition at the Archive of the Academy of Arts. It sheds light on the life and work of the Chilean dancer, choreographer and pedagogue Patricio Bunster, one of the defining figures of modern dance in Chile. The exhibition was created in 2024 at the Institute of Theatre Studies of the University of Leipzig in cooperation with the Tanzarchiv Leipzig e.V., the Saxon Academy of Arts and the Palucca University of Dance, supplemented by archival materials from the Archive of the Academy of Arts Berlin. It focuses on key stages of his artistic and pedagogical work as well as the influence of exile, cultural exchange and social engagement on his choreography.
