This special exhibition at the Berlin Wall Memorial shows photographs under the title “Thomas Meyer: Mauer Land - Bilder vom ehemaligen Mauerstreifen in Berlin, 2017–2024”. It is the work of Thomas Meyer, a photographer living in Berlin and a member of the OSTKREUZ agency, who from 2017 to 2024 looked for traces of the city's division and photographed along the former strip of the Wall in different seasons. His medium-format digital colour images show places that once made history as well as the Wall's disappearance, with layers of past and present overlapping. Through this he also documents Berlin's urban development.
