About
A spotlight guided tour at the East Side Gallery presenting some of the more than one hundred artworks painted on the Berlin Wall in 1990. They tell of hope and joy, but also of worries and unsettling experiences in the period of upheaval 1989/90. The tour looks at how the artists, more than 35 years after the fall of the Wall, view German unity: what would they paint on the wall today, and are the messages still relevant? It takes place as part of Berlin Freedom Week 2026.
