About

Michael Wesely. Doubleday in Prenzlauer Berg 1887–2026 is a special exhibition of photography at Museum Pankow. Photographer Michael Wesely put it together with Museum Pankow as a new presentation of his series »Doubleday«, about the history and present of Berlin-Prenzlauer Berg. Working from historical photographs in the Museum Pankow collection, he returned to the original camera positions and layers the old images onto the current cityscape, setting streets, courtyards and façades from past eras against the neighbourhood as it stands today.
