A temporary exhibition at the Museum in der Kulturbrauerei about the skateboarding scene in East and West Germany before and after the fall of the Berlin Wall. It is presented by the Haus der Geschichte (hdg), which runs the museum. It shows photographs by Stern photographer Harald Schmitt and scene photographers Thomas Kalak and Helge Tscharn, along with skateboards, clothing and objects from West Germany and the GDR, including the East German board "Germina Speeder". A look at today's scene, with skateparks and the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, rounds it off.
