About

A short film programme titled "Urban Voices Singing Across the Shore - Haiti & Dominican Republic in Short Film", presenting six films from Haiti and the Dominican Republic. It follows the traces of voices that carry memories, desires, questions and relationships through cities, houses, landscapes and imagined worlds. The filmmakers create, through personal experiences, resonance spaces that endure contradictions and explore the fragile connections between family, identity, place and belonging. Afterwards there will be a conversation with the filmmakers.
