About
"Vor der Ehe wollt´ ich ewig leben" is a cabaret programme at Theater am Frankfurter Tor. With the cabaret artist Maximilian Nowka, it deals with the weariness in long relationships and the question of whether marriage is really outdated despite high divorce rates – and whether single life and online dating portals are a viable alternative. The title plays on the realisation of looking helplessly at your partner's face after ten years. It is about dreams of a happy, fulfilled life and what remains of them.
