About

"Women support Women – 100 Jahre GEDOK" is an exhibition marking the 100th anniversary of GEDOK, an association founded in 1926 that networks women artists across all art forms. It is organised by GEDOK Berlin together with the Kommunale Galerie Berlin. Fifteen GEDOK Berlin artists chosen by a jury made new works for the project in painting, photography, video, installation, performance and sculpture. The pieces explore the association's history, the position of women artists in society, and questions of solidarity and visibility among them.
