A Handel Celebration is a one-night concert of George Frideric Handel's music staged in the composer's own parish church, St George's Hanover Square. The Brook Street Band and The London Handel Players join forces, with mezzo-soprano Helen Charlston, for a programme including the Trio Sonata in B minor (HWV386), the Sonata in A major (HWV361) and the cantata Mi palpita il cor (HWV132c). The concert marks the 25th anniversary of Handel's house on nearby Brook Street, now Handel Hendrix House, first opening to the public, and celebrates the music Handel wrote there. There is also an optional pre-concert reception at Handel Hendrix House before walking to the church.
