Artist Talk: Gabriella Presnal

An artist talk in which multidisciplinary artist Gabriella Presnal presents the practice and research developed during her month-long residency in London, followed by an audience Q&A after short introductions from the partner organisations. The residency, hosted by arebyte Digital Art Centre with mentors including Pita Arreola, Jussi Koitela, Sam Mercer and Tanya Boyarkina, is part of an exchange programme with M-Cult in Helsinki and the Finnish Institute in the UK and Ireland. Presnal has used photogrammetry to document the city's architecture and material culture, drawing on Situationist psychogeography to consider how agency is performed within the city. The residency is part of arebyte's 2026–2028 programme theme, REBOOT: Recoding Reality, exploring how artists can reimagine more equitable worlds.
