About
Changing Rooms: Celebrating Trans+ Domesticities is a day to night celebration launching a new display of trans homes and creativity in 2000s East London. It is funded by Hackney Pride365 Grants as part of Transgender Awareness Week and celebrates the opening of a new room display of A High-rise Flat in 2008, curated by a cohort of community researchers. The community-led programme includes trans+ 2000s themed screenings curated and hosted by TGirlsOnFilm, trans+ poetry readings with Gayathiri Kamalakanthan and Danni Spooner, a trans+ artists and makers market, a panel talk led by Trans Action for Housing Justice, and a cabaret with Major Dom, Jet Moon, Laz Lighning and Cyro.
