About

A solo exhibition of handcrafted woodturning. It presents bowls, tall forms and decorative fruit by West Sussex-based woodturner Ian Payne, a member of the Society of Designer Craftsmen. His flared and straight-sided works, made from local and sustainably sourced hardwoods, highlight the natural beauty of the material, with some pieces using an ebonising technique documented as early as the 16th Century.
