An exhibition of paintings by the Brazilian artist Jandyra Waters, showing works from the 1960s to the early 2000s. It is the first solo show in London dedicated to Waters (1921–2025), a singular figure in Brazilian post-war abstraction who remained independent of both Concrete and Neo-Concrete art. Her paintings trace an evolving language of colour, form and space, where hard-edged geometry is set in motion by overlapping planes, tilting shapes and vivid colour. A Life in Painting pays tribute to an artist who kept painting for nearly seven decades and published three volumes of haiku.
