Botanical printing: dye a silk scarf with Jaixia Blue.

A hands-on textile workshop teaching the meditative art of natural dyeing and botanical eco-printing, where you create plant-based colours and patterns onto a silk scarf or tote bag and an eco-printed handkerchief to take home. It is led by Jaixia Blue, a West London-born multidisciplinary textile artist and RCA graduate who bridges textile art, song, poetry and film, working with foraged flora and natural dyes. She guides participants through ancient techniques for transferring the pigments, shapes and textures of plants onto textiles, plus how to care for the results. No previous experience is needed and all materials are provided.
