Odissi – Ekam: The Many Within the One
The Nehru Centre, South Audley Street 8, W1K 1HF London
About
A dance evening of Odissi, a classical Indian dance form, titled Ekam: The Many Within the One. Baisali Mohanty presents Ekam, a celebration of diversity and artistic dialogue that brings together traditional Odissi choreographies and contemporary interpretations, exploring the relationship between classical heritage and modern expression. The programme also includes She Exists, a contemporary work set to folk melodies that celebrates a woman's journey of self-discovery and identity. Through movement and storytelling, the performances highlight dance as a medium of personal expression and connection.
