SOFTCORE\HARDCORE is a group exhibition at D Contemporary presenting sculptures, paintings and installations by London-based and international artists. Curated by Jonathan Fakinos, it features Alexei Izmaylov, Igor Dobrowolski, Marc-Aurèle Debut, Florence Sweeney and Frida Wannerberger, whose works traverse tactile forms, consumption and illicit desire. Blurring the line between concept and aesthetics, the show confronts viewers with their sensitive side against their raw animal instincts, examining the haptic and the sensuality arising when forms follow 'function'.
