About
The Big Firkin Band is a big band performing classic Big Band music at The Fox & Firkin, a pub in Lewisham. It is the pub's own collective of world class jazz musicians based in Lewisham and South East London, who come together once a month. They play tunes from the golden age of jazz and swing made famous by the great bands of Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Buddy Rich, Thad Jones, Stan Kenton and Woody Herman. The afternoon performances are relaxed and comfortable, with food available, and are family and dog friendly.
