About

The Pelicot Trial is a one-off piece of documentary theatre staged at London County Hall. Created by Milo Rau and Servane Dècle, it explores the true events of Gisele Pelicot's rape trial, drawing on trial testimonies, police files, social commentary and psychiatric reports of the 51 men prosecuted. A company of 30 actors and public figures performs it, including Alfred Enoch, Juliet Stevenson, Adjoa Andoh and Rosie O'Donnell. The play is a tribute to a woman whose bravery sparked a global reckoning with sexual violence.
