The Pianist is a stage production at the Park Theatre, a chamber musical/play with music built around a cast of virtuoso actor-musicians. It is adapted and directed by Thom Southerland and brings Wladyslaw Szpilman's internationally bestselling memoir to the stage, featuring Szpilman's own music for the first time. The show tells the story of the Polish Jewish pianist and composer, following his life in Warsaw as the city falls to Nazi rule. Daniel Krikler plays Szpilman alongside an ensemble including Rosalind Ford, Nitai Levi, Elzbieta Kalicka, Melania Maggiore and TJ Holmes.
