Lomex presents "No show", an exhibition of new paintings by Andrea Fourchy, on view from September 18 to October 31, 2026. Fourchy's canvases layer checkered patterns, animal prints, and Scottish knitwear motifs in tense juxtapositions that nod to Roland Barthes's idea of fashion as a cultural myth. Figures such as Ann-Margret, Mona Lisa's eyes, and crawl babies surface where there is only pattern, in works the gallery calls a constructed mess that borrows from both Abstract Expressionism and Pop. The exhibition takes its name from the cancellation policy line that closes the gallery's text.
