About

An evening conversation with the curatorial team behind the museum's new landmark installation 'Design Across Time: Exploring Smithsonian's Design Collection.' Curators Susan Brown, Emily M. Orr, and Julie Pastor of Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum offer an inside look at how the show, which brings together more than 125 works spanning product and graphic design, fashion, textiles, digital design, wallcoverings, and architecture, came together, from shaping its themes to selecting objects. The moderated talk ends with an optional audience Q&A, followed by light refreshments. Live CART captioning is provided, and the program will later be posted on the museum's YouTube channel.
