About

First Mondays: Readings of New Works In Progress is a reading series at Performance Space New York where writers present new, unpublished work-in-progress to an audience. It is organized and curated by Sarah Schulman and aims to build and grow literary community, mixing well-known and rewarded writers with under-recognized artists, emerging writers, and some who have not yet published. The October 5 season opening features Sarah Schulman, William M. Burton, Lazz Kinnamon, and more with THE LESBIAN BODY by Monique Wittig.
