About
"Soft Spaces: Heather Marie Scholl and Eva Wu" is an exhibition at the Leslie-Lohman Museum of Art, part of a series of installations featuring works by alumni of the museum's Fellowship. The edition on view is a two-person show by Heather Marie Scholl and Eva Wu, with the series curated by Chloe Ming, Assistant Curator / Exhibitions Manager. The "softness" of the title reflects the artists' experience of queer-centered spaces as providing safety in process, experimentation, and vulnerability. Across the series, more than three dozen artists present digital and media art, painting, photography, filmmaking, performance, and installation, responding to the ever-changing landscape of LGBTQIA+ experience.
