About
A group exhibition of abstract painting by four women artists. Candida Alvarez, Rochelle Feinstein, Carrie Moyer, and Amy Sillman, born between 1947 and 1960 and active since the 1980s, explore how abstraction can still address questions of aesthetics and politics. Working with material experimentation and their own visual languages, they draw on lived experience as gendered and political beings in American society, and share decades-long careers as art school professors.
