Jazz WaHi Presents La Orquesta Esa
United Palace, Broadway 4140, 10033 New York, Manhattan
About
A concert by LA ORQUESTA ESA, an Afro-Latin mambo ensemble, at United Palace as part of the Washington Heights Jazz Festival. The orchestra is led by vocalist and trombonist GINITA, who founded it in 2024 with support from Lincoln Center. The group brings together New York musicians playing classic tropical styles such as Salsa, Bolero, Cha Cha Cha, Tango, and Cumbia, blending mambo's golden-era sound with the improvisation of jazz.
