About

Pete Rodriguez plays live at Arthur's Tavern. The trumpeter, vocalist, and percussionist, son of salsa singer Pete "El Conde" Rodriguez and godson of bandleader Johnny Pacheco, leads his own band playing a jazz style that blends hard-driving modern post-bop with Latin melodies and R&B-tinged grooves. A former musical director of his father's band by age 19, he has performed with legends including Tito Puente, Celia Cruz, and Eddie Palmieri, and his recent album I'm Pete Rodríguez, Vol. 1 was named one of the Best of 2024 by the New York City Jazz Record.
