About

Sandra Cinto: The Path to Stars is an exhibition of new paintings, wall paintings, and folding screens at Tanya Bonakdar Gallery in New York. It is the twelfth solo exhibition by Sandra Cinto, a São Paulo-based artist, since her debut there in 1999. The works examine the sun and the stars as elements of connection, moving from night to day through shades of blue and gold and inviting reflection on perception through opposites such as light and shadow, presence and absence, and balance and imbalance.
