STEAM Lab: Design Your Own Board Game
Lefferts
About
STEAM Lab: Design Your Own Board Game is a hands-on workshop for teens at a New York City library. It is run by the Queens Public Library at its Lefferts location in Bayside. Amid a revival of board games driven by strategy and cooperation rather than luck, participants plan a game, research game mechanics, design their play area and pieces, and figure out how to play-test their creation. Craft materials and makerspace tools such as 3Doodler Pens and the Cricut Machine are provided; no prior experience is required and entry is first-come, first-served.
