STEAM Lab: Design Your Own Board Game
Queens Public Library, 14th Road 151-10, 11357 Whitestone, Queens
About
Teens can plan their own board game from scratch: researching game mechanics, designing the play area and pieces, and figuring out how to play-test the finished creation. The program is run by Queens Public Library, inspired by the revival of board games driven by a shift from luck and conflict to strategy and cooperation. Craft materials and makerspace tools such as 3Doodler Pens and the Cricut Machine are provided. No prior experience is required and admission is first-come, first-served.
