About
The STEM Collective Workshop Series: Microplastics & Sustainability is a workshop series for teens interested in sustainability, held in person at the Jackson Heights library location in Queens. Across the sessions, teens practice research, take part in mock interviews and interviews with mentors in STEM, and collaboratively work on a project presentation, from an introduction to the topic through research, mock interviews, and a final presentation. Participants receive seven community service hours and a $50 gift card, and the program is funded by National Grid. Registration is done through a link on the library's page.
