At Cabaret Voltaire, a permanent exhibition shows two light objects by artist Stefan Burger that illuminate the space and, at best, the spirits. The sculptures of cast glass and aluminium continue Burger's engagement with art as an everyday object, begun at Cabaret Voltaire in 2020. They are hybrid installations or tipping figures that, depending on how one looks at them, lean toward different qualities or readings and play with ornament and function. Working with liquid glass involves colours of intense luminosity that, thanks to their ceramic nature, glow on cheerfully and indestructibly.
