About

The Dada-Vitrine is a display-case exhibition in the vaulted cellar of the Cabaret Voltaire, the Zurich birthplace of Dada. The Cabaret Voltaire sees itself as both a site of remembrance for Dada and a project space for contemporary art and gastronomy. The case shows works and ephemera by the Zurich Dadaists, such as texts and invitation cards, and its exhibits change with different focal points. For the exhibition «DadaZwischenSprachen», it presents historical documents from collections including the Kunsthaus Zürich, the Hugo-Ball-Gesellschaft of the city of Pirmasens and the Zentralbibliothek Zürich.
