About

A virtuosic fortepiano recital is dedicated to the forgotten composer Delphine von Schauroth, who was Mendelssohn's muse and a contemporary of Chopin. Els Biesemans performs on an Erard grand piano from around 1860; the pianist was once mentioned in the same breath as Clara Schumann and Franz Liszt. The concert includes an introduction at 6.30 pm and an apéro afterwards. The recital takes place at the Evang.-ref. Kirche Brühl in Zurich.
