About

A film evening at the Fortepiano Festival «Flügelschläge» at the Lavaterhaus in Zurich. The evening opens with the experimental short film of the same name, The Art of Chopin by E. Sombart & V. Bossel, CH 2016. It is followed by the award-winning documentary The Art of Chopin by G. Caillat, F 2010, a tribute to Frédéric Chopin's musical genius. The programme is introduced by festival director Els Biesemans with an introduction to Chopin's elegantly revolutionary piano technique.
