About
A talk concert at the Fraumünster in which early harpsichord music tells biblical stories. Music scholar and harpsichordist Angelika Moths leads and performs, joined by the ensemble Recitans canere. Renaissance composers set Bible passages for vocal ensembles; some pieces became so famous that they could be played instrumentally, without the text. Listeners could then create their own image of the stories in their mind's eye.
