About
A focus exhibition at the Sukkulenten-Sammlung Zürich, a plant collection on Lake Zurich. Run by Grün Stadt Zürich, it presents the working practice and the history of this scientifically managed special collection of succulent plants. A display case in the Afrikahaus looks back at the collecting of plants, and one in the Südamerikahaus shows the scientific work that usually takes place out of public view. The collection holds around 23,000 plants, a herbarium of nearly 30,000 preserved specimens and a specialist library on the first floor of the operations building.
