About
Installation «zustandsgestalten» is an art installation by Reto Pulfer, shown in the greenhouses of the Sukkulenten-Sammlung Zürich. Pulfer (born 1981) creates expansive works from textiles, braided structures and organic materials that intervene in existing spaces. His self-woven bands extend and contrast the succulents' natural variety of forms: at times they are fastened to the plants, at times the plants climb along them, so that nature and human culture merge. The work understands itself as an organic process that grows together with the plants.
