About
A guest lecture by Adrian Pöllinger on the actual assembly processes of modern prefabricated lightweight buildings, using the example of Jean Prouvé's workshops in Maxéville and a rural school from the 1950s. It is hosted by the Chair of Construction Heritage and Monument Conservation of Prof. Dr. Silke Langenberg as part of the lecture series «Future Monuments». The lecture turns to the often overlooked actors of assembly, showing what creative role site erectors could take and what conflicts between industrial building methods and local craftsmanship were played out.
