Waking Life: Linklater's animated film about dreams.

'Waking Life' is an animated film in which a young man, searching for the meaning of life, meets dozens of people who always offer him new models of explanation. Richard Linklater wrote the screenplay, directed and handled the camera together with Tommy Pallotta. The film was made using a novel animation technique in which painted moving images are created semi-automatically from video footage. It is a chain of paradoxes and reflections on what is real and what is not, on when one is dreaming and when one is awake.
