Wives – Ten Years After

«Wives – Ten Years After (Hustruer – ti år etter)» is a Norwegian feature film from 1985 and a sequel to «Wives». It was directed by Anja Breien, who wrote the screenplay with Knut Faldbakken. Kaja, Mie and Heidrun are now in their forties and spend Christmas Eve at a costume party, whose pleasures they want to continue as a trio while husbands, children and lovers celebrate without them. Demanding jobs, depression and a venereal disease make the three friends painfully aware of how time passes – time for a first reckoning.
