An introductory talk and discussion asking whether a democratic new beginning was missed in 1989/90. The “New Constitution” working group of the Central Round Table presented a draft constitution in 1990, but no broad debate about it followed. Sabine Bergmann-Pohl, Paulina Fröhlich, ManuEla Ritz and Max Schneller will discuss, moderated by Dagmar Hovestädt. The event is part of the “Berlin Freedom Week” and concludes the series “Über Grenzen: Ziehen, Einreißen und Verschieben” in BERLIN GLOBAL.
