About
Benedikt Jahnel gives a concert in the Orania.Piano series at Orania Berlin. With “Echoes of Pat Metheny & Lyle Mays”, the pianist pays tribute to the work of two icons of modern jazz. Building on their compositions, he creates poetic, subtly nuanced piano interpretations combining melodic expansiveness, harmonic sophistication and improvisational freedom. In doing so he produces personal reflections and fresh perspectives on a musical legacy that continues to resonate today.
