About
A musical and theatrical evening about the French chansonnier Georges Brassens and his time in Germany. In 1943 Brassens came to Basdorf as a forced labourer from Paris and worked there for about a year in BMW's aircraft engine production; some of his songs were written there. The programme links this story with his songs and invites the audience, on the 45th anniversary of his death, on a journey into the past. The performers are Timothée Dumont (actor and singer), Luca Storz (jazz musician), Volkmar Paschold (jazz, soul and funk musician) and Jens Mehrle (director).
