About

A reading followed by a conversation under the title „BÜHNENTAUSCH „Die Frauen tragen die Last“ - Lesung & Gespräch mit Rainer Drews“. Behind it is Rainer Drews, an author born in Berlin-Hermsdorf, an educationalist who taught at universities in Berlin and Potsdam, reading from his biographical reportage „Leben am Hermsdorfer Waldsee“. It traces the lives of Maria Koerfgen and her daughter Renate, who from 1947 onwards had to manage alone as a widow and half-orphan after son and son-in-law went missing in the war. Claudia Wasow-Kania of the Museum Reinickendorf gives the welcome; participation is only possible with registration.
