About
An interactive lecture followed by time for questions and discussion. Nadja Schallenberg, who has long campaigned for the visibility and rights of trans* people and leads two self-help groups at Sonntags-Club e. V., takes participants on a journey through the history of hostility towards homo- and trans people, from its historical origins to current societal challenges. It looks at how prejudices arose, why they persist to this day and what perspectives exist for more acceptance and diversity. The event is part of the Queer Monday series, in which the Wolfdietrich-Schnurre-Bibliothek meets the Sonntagsclub.
