About
A lecture as part of the 'Queer Monday' series, in which the Wolfdietrich-Schnurre-Bibliothek meets the Sonntagsclub. It is given by Peter Rausch, co-founder of the GDR's first gay-lesbian emancipation group (HIB) and of the Sonntags-Club e. V., who still works as a contemporary witness for queer history. The lecture looks at the GDR's four decades and traces the development of homosexuality, homophobia, emancipation and sexual culture chronologically. Afterwards there is time for questions, discussion and conversation, and everyone interested is welcome.
