This is a public tour in English through the exhibition "Dschingis Khan. und die Welt der Mongolen" at the James-Simon-Galerie. It is run by the Staatliche Museen zu Berlin and is aimed at adults. Using fascinating archaeological finds, it explores how the Mongol horsemen under Genghis Khan and his successors conquered the largest land empire in history. It also covers early globalisation under the Mongol khans and the empires of the Turks and Uyghurs who dominated the steppe before them.
