About
"Geheimtransporte über die Ostsee" is a talk with discussion marking forty years since the ferry port Mukran opened. It is put on by the Museum Berlin-Karlshorst together with the DDR-Museum. Journalist Wolfgang Klietz recounts how, in strict secrecy, East Germany and Moscow created a direct rail ferry link to Klaipėda in the Soviet Union, and presents many new photos about it. Also involved are Christoph Meißner of the Museum Berlin-Karlshorst and moderator Sören Marotz of the DDR-Museum.
