About
"Graceful Degradation" is a solo exhibition with an opening reception at BBA Gallery in Berlin-Mitte. Behind it is the German artist Verena Bachl, who works across sculpture and installation, drawing on industrial elements, material processes, and light. Her works examine how functional objects persist beyond the systems they once served, occupying a space between infrastructure, geology, and artefact. The exhibition follows gradual processes of change in which systems no longer perform as intended yet retain traces of their former logic, dwelling within transitional states rather than rupture or collapse.
