About

"Heilpflanzen und Kräutermagie" is a public guided tour through the medicinal plant garden of the Botanic Garden. Speaker Daniela Lindow-Marinelli shows on a walk how gardens for healing plants have developed from antiquity to today. Topics include the knowledge of Hildegard of Bingen, herb-wise women, healers, midwives and the often misunderstood history of "witches", as well as the deliberate use of poisonous plants. The tour lasts 90 minutes, is limited to about 20 participants, and registration is required.
